Paying for Summer High School

Students and parents can pay for summer school at eCADEMY, 5300 Cutler NE, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

The following types of payments will be accepted: 

  • Cash -- exact amount only 
  • Money Order
  • Cashier's Check (NO personal checks)
  • Credit/Debit Card

Any person entering the building must wear face coverings like a homemade mask or scarves.  Other social-distancing practices will be strictly enforced to ensure that there is no contact among payers and eCADEMY staff.

Parents and students also have the option of paying over the phone with a credit or debit card. 

Payments also may be made at eCADEMY from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 26-29.

eCADEMY Summer School Information

eCademy High School will be providing an online only summer school.  All classes are taught and managed by APS teachers through Edgenuity who will also provide support to your student through optional Google Meet tutoring sessions during the terms.

Registration opens on Monday, April 20th. Enroll through your home school counselor.  Students may enroll in two classes per term for up to four classes total (2 credits).

We will also be offering online PE this summer! 

  • Term 1: June 1-19
  • Term 2: June 22-July 13

Fees are based on FRLP as noted in Synergy:  (You must contact Food Services to have this updated or changed in Synergy)

  • $62.50/class (Free Lunch),
  • $125/class (Reduced Lunch)
  • $250/class (Full Price and Non-APS students from charter schools or out-of-district)

You may pay your fees through SchoolPay at www.schoolpay.com for now. More payment options (over the phone credit cards payments and possible cash payments) will be offered in the near future. Fees must be paid in full by May 26th for Term 1 and by June 17th for Term 2 or students will be dropped.  Check back for updates regarding payments.

4/7/20 eCADEMY Classes for the Remainder of the 19/20 School Year

Dear Parents and Guardians of students enrolled in eCademy classes:

The following are the guidelines regarding classes for the remainder of the 19/20 school year.

  1. All classes for all students are now paced to May 19th and will close on May 21st at 3pm.
  2. Pretesting will remain ON and test reviews will remain OFF for the remainder of the semester.
  3. Students will have their RELATIVE GRADE posted for the 5th six weeks.
  4. Students should continue working to complete their class by May 21st.
  5. Students will receive a “P” (Passing) when they complete the course and an “N” (No Credit) if they do not as per the APS Continuous Learning Plan directives.
  6. All classes completed earlier in the semester will also receive a “P” for completing the class.
  7. Teachers are available through Edgenuity, email, google texts, etc. if you have specific questions or concerns.
  8. Final exams may be taken when students are ready. Contact the teacher or email the helpdesk at ecademyhelpdesk@aps.edu to have it opened.
  9. The final day to add classes is April 8th.

THE LAST DAY TO ADD A NEW COURSE IS WEDNESDAY, 4/8 AT 3:00 PM. Any new course request MUST come from your counselor.

For the remainder of the Spring 2020 Semester, eCADEMY will have the following guidelines in place:

  1. Unit Tests will remain unlocked.
  2. Cumulative (Final) Exams can be taken at home.
  3. ALL GRADES FOR THE SPRING 2020 SEMESTER WILL BE PASS/NO GRADE.
  4. ALL courses will close on May 21st at 3:00 PM

eCADEMY/Connected/BlendED Online Edgenuity students

eCADEMY ConnectED/BlendED Online Edgenuity student classes will remain open.

You are encouraged to continue working on your classes.  Pretesting will be open the remainder of the school year.  Tests will be unlocked starting March 16th and remain open until April 15th.Final exams must be taken in person when school resumes April 6th. Students needing additional eCADEMY online classes can register until April 8th, please contact your home school counselor.

eCADEMY BlendED Students

BlendED (in person classes) resume on Monday, April 6th. PE resumes it normal schedule on Tuesday, April 7th.

eCADEMY/ConnectED/BlendED Coronavirus Class Enrollment deadline

ConnectED Spring 2020 class enrollment deadline has been extended to April 8th, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.  Please contact your home school counselor to add classes.

Attention ConnectED and BlendED Students

Students: you are able to work on your class(es) during school closure. Pre-Testing has been turned on in all courses and unit tests will be unlocked automatically. Please do your best to earn passing grades on all assignments/quizzes/tests!
