College Financial Aid
What is the FAFSA?
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- Free online application for federal government aid for college
- Helps students qualify for work-study (jobs on campus to help pay tuition costs) and subsidized loans
Complete the FAFSA
- Provide the required information from your taxes
- Pay attention to college priority deadlines
- Never too late to submit the FAFSA — seniors can still submit it even as late as spring/summer, but keep college deadlines in mind!
- Don't hesitate to ask the counselors for help

Volunteer and Job Shadow
Consider getting hands-on experience in your field of interest by volunteering and job shadowing.
Contact programs and offices to see if they will allow you to volunteer/shadow them.
